This site is dedicated to my ELLIS/SMITH family history which
I have been researching since 1998.
In recent months I have been revisiting my early research and I have found more information

An associated interest of mine is the history of the
4th (Queen's Own) Regiment of Light Dragoons,
and I have started to compile information on this cavalry regiment
since I find that there is surprisingly little currently available on the 'net.
